Welcome to Wise Tattoo Family

Your Tattoo Studio at Kata Beach

Wise Tattoo Family is located in Phuket on Kata Beach.

Our studio is clean, such as the inks are poured into individual cups before we use then discarded. Needles are also opened in front of the customers and disposed after using them.

We pride ourselves on hygiene and following the best practices in our industry concerning professionalism, customer relations and producing the best possible service.

All our artwork are unique and individual. We always give You the best quality and we take time to do our work.

Mr. Addy is a professional artist trained to create tattoos using modern electric machinery as well as ancient bamboo. Both techniques are available although Bamboo is less painful and allows the wearer to swim almost immediately after setting the tattoo.

Wise Tattoo adheres to strict hygienic conditions. We use the finest American inks (Eternal Ink), we use new needles for every session (needle is unsealed in front of our customers). Our customers come back for additional work and recommend us to their friends.

Machine Tattoo

A tattoo machine is a hand-held device generally used to create a tattoo, a permanent marking of the skin with indelible ink. Modern tattoo machines use electromagnetic coils to move an armature bar up and down. Connected to the armature bar is a barred needle grouping that pushes ink into the skin. Tattoo artists generally use the term “machine”, or even “iron”, to refer to their equipment. The word “gun” is often used but many tattoo professionals dislike it.
In addition to “coiled” tattoo machine there are also Rotary Tattoo Machines, which are powered by regulated motors rather than electromagnetic coils. “The basic machine is pretty much unchanged today, in recent years variations of the theme have crept into the market, namely Manfred Kohr’s Rotary machine of 1976 or Carson Hill’s pneumatic machine that uses compressed air rather than electricity, but the principle is essentially the same.

Bamboo Tattoo

A bamboo tattoo is not engraved with the machine as usual, but with a metal rod with sterile disposable needles that puncture the skin. This is precision work and the time required is a bit higher, as with any form of manual labor, but this technique is much gentler on the skin and less painful. During stinging, hardly any blood flows, resulting in minimal, usually no scabbing, which makes maintenance very easy. A little Vaseline is enough and serves as a protection, so you can take a shower and even go swimming. Sun is not a problem.
Due to the lack of or minimal scab formation, it is also very rare that color is lost during the healing process and must be repainted. Also, the risk of infection is very low, since you have no bloody wound.
